1. THE BOOK OF MORMON tour at Music Hall

While there is nothing holiday about THE BOOK OF MORMON there is everything “adult” about this musical from the creators of South Park. Hailed by PerformInk KC’s reviewer Bec Pennington as “endearing” and “fantastic”  this winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Musical is sure to leave you laughing and in shock that you are. Now playing through December 11th.

2. THE TWELVES PLAYS OF CHRISTMAS at Fishtank Theatre

Now in its fourth year, this newly revamped, all-original (except recognized holiday songs) show features Devon Barnes, Coleman Crenshaw, Ellen Kirk & Joshua Gleeson and plenty of fun. Now playing through December 18th.

3. THE SANTALAND DIARIES at Kansas City Repertory Theatre

David Sedaris’ hilarious memoir recalling his time as a Macy’s department store elf is in its fourth and final year at KC Rep. Filled with plenty of adult humor and fun, catch this production before it heads out of KC for good. Now through December 24th.

4. APPLICATION PENDING at Unicorn Theatre

This comedy about a prestigious Manhattan school features one actor playing 40 roles. APPLICATION PENDING spends one day in the life of an admissions officer dealing with parents eager to get their little angels into kindergarten. Through December 26th.
