The Heartland Men’s Chorus will close out their 31st season this summer with SHOW TUNE SHOWDOWN!

Featuring a chorus of over 150 singers, and spanning over 100 years of Broadway, SHOW TUNE SHOWDOWN! will feature legandry composers Rogers and Hammerstein, Andrew Llyod Webber, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Scwartz, John Kander, and Jerry Herman and feature songs from GUYS AND DOLLS, A CHORUS LINE, GEORGE M, PETER PAN, GYPSY to name a few, all under the baton of Artistic Director Dustin S. Cates.

In addition to an evening of music, SHOW TUNE SHOWDOWN! is also a game show. The “Showdown,” will be hosted by Brian Ellison of KCUR 89.3, who will challenge participating audience members on their knowledge of musical theater trivia and history. “With this concert, I am literally fulfilling my lifelong ambition of being a game show host,” comments Ellison.

“Our concerts have something for everyone and will always leave you with a message or a song in your heart. This time they can leave with prizes, too,” notes Cates. “It will be a concert for all ages . . . anyone who loves Broadway musicals will love this concert!”

SHOW TUNE SHOWDOWN! runs June 10th and 11th at the Folly Theater, 300 W. 12th Street in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Tickets are available online at hmckc.org/tickets or by calling 816-931- 3338. Prices range from $18 to $43 with special student pricing at $7.
