Kansas City Repertory Theatre is auctioning off over 30 years of theatrical props, costumes, antiques and oddities in an online auction event open to the public, ending July 26th.
Local auction company Cates Auction is managing the sale comprised of 1200 lots, includes vintage and antique costumes from productions including “The Curious Adventures of Alice,” “Raisin in the Sun”, “Equus”, “A Christmas Carol” and many more. Up for grabs are everything from architectural salvage pieces, to antique and mid-century furniture, theatrical props, coffins, medical equipment, statuary, vintage furs, vinyl record lathe, chandeliers, a suit of armor and more.
“This is truly an exciting auction with one-of-a-kind pieces. We are honored to be trusted with such an incredible assortment of costumes and antiques acquired from the private collections of donors and patrons of the KCRep spanning the last 30 years.
