MTH has announced Broadway star Corey Cott will bring his solo show AN EVENING WITH COREY COTT to Kansas City for one night only, Monday, September 24 at 7pm.
Cott most recently originated the role of Donny Novitski in the Tony Award-winning musical “Bandstand.” Previous roles include two years starring as Jack Kelly in Disney’s “Newsies,” followed by the Broadway revival of “Gigi” starring opposite Vanessa Hudgens.
Cott’s solo show will include songs and stories from his Broadway career as well as a few surprises, said MTH Associate Producer Tim Scott. “We have a history of bringing Broadway performers to MTH to perform their original Club shows,” comments Associate Producer Tim Scott. “In the past we’ve featured Claybourne Elder, Heather Mac Rae, Tally Sessions, and Jeff Kready; all of whom sold out their shows at MTH. Additionally, we’ve been fortunate to welcome Tony Award nominees Bill Russell and Kristin Hanggi for special events, as well. Corey is a tremendous talent and about as nice a guy as they come, we know our audience will absolutely love what he has in store for them.”
AN EVENING WITH COREY COTT performs Monday September 24, 7pm at The MTH Theater at Crown Center. Seating is limited. For more information, including ticket prices, visit mthkc.com.
