Mesner Puppet Theater, in a co-production with Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium, has announced the cast for its family-friendly holiday production of THE LITTLE PRINCE by Rick Cummins and Jon Scoullar, adapted from the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Directed by Erika Baker, the production will feature Coleman Crenshaw (Aviator, King, Business Man), Shawna Peña-Downing (Rose, Fox, Snake, Conceited Man, Geographer), and R.H. Wilhoit (The Little Prince).

From the press release: “The beauty of this classic tale are the many encounters The Little Prince has along his journey; meeting strange men on planets, a mysterious snake in the Sahara, an Aviator marooned in the desert and a fox with a most important lesson, ‘It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye.’ Every character the Prince encounters in his adventures changes who he is, whether they intend to or not.”

THE LITTLE PRINCE December 4 – 29 at the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium. For more information visit mesnerpuppets.org.
