Written by Justin Mohn, the developmental reading will feature local actors Andy Perkins, Hannah Freeman, Shawna Peña-Downing, Dashawn Young, Emerson Rapp, and Casey Jane.

A snapshot of five peacekeepers on civilization’s deathbed, “Side Effects May Vary” follows a group of conscripts in Midwestern America trying to hold themselves together in the face of famine, disease, and deprivation.

The one-night-only event runs Monday, February 4 at the Uptown Arts Bar, 3611 Broadway, KC, MO. The reading is free and open to the public. For more information visit KCPublicTheatre.org.
