The Olathe Civic Theatre Association has announced the cast and creative team for A FLEA IN HER EAR, Georges Feydeau’s farce, adapted by David Ives, and directed by David Martin.

The cast includes Peter Leondedis (Victor Chandebise/Poche), Lauren Hambleton (Raymonde Chandebise), Brent Custer (Romain Tournel), Dan Heinz (Don Carlos Homenides De Histangua), Meghann Deveroux (Lucienne Homeindes De Histanua), Griffin Leander (Camille Chandebise), Scott Shaw (Dr. Finache), Doug Ford (Ferallion), Tracy Fox (Olympia), Jeannie Blau (Eugenie), Patrick Peterson (Etienne), Amanda Bass (Antoinette), Aaron Roose (Rugby), and Wes King (Baptiste).

The production team is Stage Manager D.K. Evenson, Costume Designer Sarah Jeter, Properties Designer Valerie Martin, Lighting Designer Chuck Cline, Sound Designer David Martin, and Set Designer Bill Wright

A FLEA IN HER EAR follows Raymonde who suspects her suddenly uninterested husband is having an affair. She cooks up a trap to catch him in the act. Touted as the “greatest of French farces”, A FLEA IN HER EAR was the winner of the 2006 Jefferson Award for best adaptation.
